Nature The Kidd Interview #NaturesWay @NatureKiddMusik @ParkStreetPR

Nature BOW

What would you say is your biggest achievement in the music industry so far in your career?

I think the release of the Empire Anthem single would have to be my biggest achievement to date simply because it got me signed and earned me money. Releasing Nature’s Way would have to be the most pleasing personally because it is my first solo project and the response it has received has been almost overwhelming. This is the first project I have had total control over and it is very encouraging to see so many listeners appreciating the work I have put together.

How long you been making music and what was the first track you ever released?

I started recording at 14/15 and the first song I recorded was Empire Anthem.

How would describe the music you make? What words define your sound?

I really don’t know how I would describe it. I’m just being me. I haven’t gone for any particular style I have just gone for what I feel suits me.

Where are you living at the moment and do people from your city support you?

I am living in the Midlands at present but I am originally from London. I’d like to think my city support me but I have spent so much time in different parts of the country I don’t know if I have lost the connection between me and my city. Either way I will always rep south east to the death.

With Hip-Hop being so global now, do you like any Hip-Hop at the moment that is not from your country? Are there any overseas artists that you really like or rate?

J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar are 2 overseas artists I have a lot of love for. Those guys are releasing some top quality music and you cant help but be inspired by the movements they make.

How has your quest in music going? Are you trying to get signed or do it independent?

I just want to be heard fam. Whether this has to be done on an independent level or with the support of a label doesn’t really bother me. As long as I get to speak to the people through my music I’m a happy guy.

Is there anybody in the scene you would love to work with? Producers, rappers, deejays or record labels?

I’d love to work with quite a few artists J.Cole probably being the first. But more realistically I think Little Dee would be good to work with as would Fekky, I feel their styles would compliment mine in a positive way and would make for a great piece of music.

I would like to work with Bayoz Music also. I have worked with Bayo before but we have never released anything together. He has to be one of my favourite producers in the country and an all round nice guy, would be great to work with him again.

What’s your favourite Hip-Hop magazine/website and why?

Would have to be the Source or XXL. Simply because they have the biggest reputation and as a result get all the biggest features.

What’s your favourite radio show on the radio at the moment?

I don’t really listen to the Radio unless it Charlie Sloth so I would have to say the biggest show to me would be his show on 1xtra.

What’s your favourite clothing label or not really into fashion?

Really not fussed when it comes to fashion. As long as it looks good on me I’ll rock it

Pairadyce Interview

What would you say is your biggest achievement in the music industry so far in your career?
Engineering song on Slim Thug’s Tha Thug Show. Being in the studio at that time and learning things just really helped me step my game up. It was also interesting to see how other artists created their songs because before working in the studio, I was just used to seeing how I worked and it’s always interesting to see others create.

How long you been making music and what was the first track you ever released?
It’s been around a decade of writing and making songs and when you quantify it like that it feels so long ago. So long that I don’t honestly remember the first song I released but I used to frequent message boards because at that time the digital realm was just coming up and that was a good way of getting a broad audience.

How would describe the music you make? What words define your sound?
I would describe my music as “real life situations” in that, I think anybody could relate to what I have to say. That phrase and those words would best define what it is I do because I don’t know what it’s like to be in the upper class, I’m just a regular ‘Joe’ living the same life as most of my listeners.

Where are you living at the moment and do people from your city support you?
I’m living just outside of Dallas at the moment. It’s strange in the south because I don’t have that “southern style,” which I love to death, so while I get a lot of respect as people hear what I do and appreciate it, it’s a lot harder to retain those listeners because their ears are trained to a certain swag I guess you’d say. But I haven’t had anyone tell me I can’t rap, so it’s just about doing something memorable and connecting with the people who listen.

With Hip-Hop being so global now, do you like any Hip-Hop at the moment that is not from your country? Are there any overseas artists that you really like or rate?
I’ve been listening to a lot of K-Pop lately to be honest because my wife is Korean. My new favorite is Big Bang, they remind me of the Black Eyed Peas and their presentation is on point.

How has your quest in music going? Are you trying to get signed or do it independent?
It’s going good… I used to think being signed was the ultimate goal but once you learn how the industry functions, myself personally, it became less of a desire. I’m all for the independent notion, I run my own website, hand out CDs, connect with people. Being signed would be nice but I don’t want to lose any connections.

Is there anybody in the scene you would love to work with? Producers, rappers, deejays or record labels?
I could name a bunch of people I’d love to work with, probably at the top of my list would be Chamillionaire or Royce da 5’9″ just to see their creative process and now with my K-Pop interest, I’d like to connect with Korean rappers and work with the producer Teddy.

What record label are you on and who distributes your music?
I’m not on any label but I work heavily with Knowledge Giving Birth Productions, we distribute everything on our own but the album we are working on will have digital distribution from Island Def Jam.

What’s your favourite Hip-Hop magazine/website and why?
I guess XXL was my favorite magazine coming up because it seemed more general and not just a “you have to reach this level to be featured” type of magazine. As far as websites, I occasionally browse allhiphop.com or hiphopdx.com because they usually have the best interviews.

What’s your favourite radio show ?
I don’t listen to the radio anymore, but when I do it’s usually Power 105 in NY with the breakfast club (Charlamagne, DJ Envy, and Angela Yee)

What’s ya favourite clothing label and why?
Probably PNB, cause it’s fashionable, unique, and hard to find. They have dope styles.

What’s your Twitter and website links?
http://www.pairadyce.com
http://www.twitter.com/pairadyce

Thanks for doing the interview, before you go is there anything else you’d like to add or an opinion you’d like to voice?
Shout out to my production team Rediculus, Jon Glass, Kayser9soze, & Rob Connelly. If you’re an artist, remember what made you love music, that’s what inspires me. Album on the way.

ILLVIBE INTERVIEW

iLLvibe is a Canadian emcee who was nominated for the Toronto Independent Music Awards’ Best Rap Act in 2010, off the back of his “Sex, Love & Hip-Hop” album, and performances on the same bill as the likes of Pharoahe Monch, Pete Rock, Obie Trice, Slaughterhouse, Method Man, Lloyd Banks, Busta Rhymes and even Sean Paul.

Having also worked with established artists such as Slakah the Beatchild and soul singer Lani Billard, Vibe has coordinated two tours, the WeAllKings tour of East Canada, and then Hip-Hop Revolution tour of Europe alongside L.S. Known for his prodigious work ethic, Cafe Jass represents Vibe’s fourth full release since the beginning of 2011, following “In the Streets of iLLydelfya”, “Just Around the Corner” and the well-received “Blunts & Roses”. “Last Song” is his 19th video for a released track.

What would you say is your biggest achievement in the music industry so far in your career?

The 2010 Hip Hop Revolution Tour across Canada, UK and Western Europe. Hearing French Hip Hop fans attempting to sing along although not knowing English was amazing.

How long you been making music and what was the first track you ever released?

I started making music 17 years ago. The first track I ever professionally released was “So Good” featuring Lani Billard.

How would describe the music you make? What words define your sound?

I am a soulful Hip Hop artist. I talk about life experiences and try to make upbeat, enjoyable music that is timeless. I have a unique voice and style, I really don’t watch or follow industry trends. I am an artist.

Where are you living at the moment and do people from your city support you?

Toronto Canada, this is a difficult place to get support. My support comes from around the world including some base support here at home.

With Hip-Hop being so global now, do you like any Hip-Hop at the moment that is not from your country? Are there any overseas artists that you really like or rate?

I have a whole network of UK emcees I rate high! Twizzy, Jinxsta JX, Non Applicable and so many more.

How has your quest in music going? Are you trying to get signed or do it independent?

For me it’s all about building my music into a business. Build my fanbase, my product and my distribution/delivery of music. I spend a lot of time planning the marketing and promotion behind my music. This is more enjoyable then the quest for a deal and builds me a lasting venture.

Is there anybody in the scene you would love to work with? Producers, rappers, deejays or record labels?

I love working with artists and producers with a unique voice and sound, I love pushing limits and seeing what comes together.

What record label are you on and who distributes your music?

L.O.D Development is an indie label I’m associated with. I distribute everything.

What’s your favourite Hip-Hop magazine/website and why?

There are so many platforms supporting independent music. I appreciate all that take the time to support artists and create opportunities for them to connect with new fans. It’s an amazing phenomenon to see a network of blogs and online magazines making these connections.

What’s your favourite radio show ?

My boy Farsh hosts “Strong Foundation” out of Paris France, he supports quality Hip Hop and Soul from around the world. He even gave us a guided tour around Paris when on tour. Great show!

What’s ya favourite clothing label and why?

I’m not into labels per se – I’m really into style as a whole. Earth tones / sometimes wildly bright colours can be cool.
